I began to appreciate style and beauty at a young age at my sister's salon in upstate NY. While I was in the army stationed in Europe, I was overtaken by the rich fashion culture and inspired by the many different influences that created style. This lead to me to attending beauty school after my return to New York and I began my work experience apprenticing back at my sister's salon in Albany. While there, I went on to become an educator for L'anza International and Rusk. Eventually I moved to New York City, where I was fortunate enough to work for L'Oreal as a color representative . From there I went further in the world of hair color to become an educator for major brands such as Matrix and Toni & Guy.
After ten successful years in the industry, I found the Sahag Workshop in 1999. John gave me the opportunity to work at his Workshop, for which I will always be grateful. As a senior colorist, I approach every client as a new creation - as unique as they are, by studying every feature from hair shape to skin tone and hair texture. I love to create beautiful natural looking highlights, multidimensional color and stunningly rich single processes.
